Susan Bessey, PT, M. Ed., PCS
Susan is the owner and Clinical Director of ChildWorks Therapy, LLC. She has over twenty-one years of experience as a licensed physical therapist. Ten years ago, she began to specialize in the field of pediatric physical therapy. She is Board-Certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist and is also certified in pediatric Neurodevelopmental Training (NDTA). She received a Master’s Degree in Health Education with a concentration in Health Promotion at UNC-Charlotte. She worked for Easter Seals Children’s Therapy Services for five years in Union County. In 2004, she began her private practice, extending services to children of all ages and types of movement problems. Susan is dedicated to using a team approach, working closely with families and other health care providers to achieve the best results for each individual child.

Jennifer Bejian, LPTA
Jennifer has several years of experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant specializing in the treatment of children. She has expertise in the many areas, including Torticollis, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, and other problems with gross motor development related to prematurity, genetic and various central nervous system disorders. |

Marian D. Evan, LPTA
Marian Evans has over ten years of pediatric experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with the Union County School system. She has two children and has lived in here in Union County for most of her life. She has experience in the treatment of children with Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome and Autism.

Heather Jenkins, PT, DPT, ATP
Heather has over 6 years of experience in the field of physical therapy with the majority of time spent in pediatrics. She graduated with her Masters degree in 2001 from the University of Utah and completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree in May of 2007 from Upstate Medical University in New York. Most recently she worked at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, DC, focused on individuals with neurologic injuries. She was the primary physical therapist for the multi-disciplinary Cerebral Palsy Clinic and was heavily involved with the Seating and Mobility Clinic. She is a RESNA-certified Assistive Technology Practitioner. She has worked with children in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, and home settings.
